Planting the First Seed
From the time that I was in highschool, I’ve always loved reading and writing. I always thought about starting a blog and eventually writing a book someday, but I didn’t know where to start. Like many of us, I overthought everything. That overthinking turned into pressure, which led to self-doubt. Eventually, I stopped writing. I tucked away the idea of writing and focused on other things in my life at the time, thinking I’d return to it “someday.”
I realized that “someday” is now. I’ve been feeling a tug at my spirit to start writing again, to find a creative outlet that allows me to share reflections that are both honest and vulnerable while also building community and closeness with others. That part of me who found joy in words and writing has been waiting, and it felt like the right time to return to it.
But this blog is not just for me. It’s for young women navigating life and all of its experiences and moments that it presents us with. I want to create a space that feels comfortable, safe, and authentic, where we can reflect, share, grow, and maybe even heal together.
You may wonder why the blog is called Blossoming Through It. To me, it represents growth. Life as a young woman is full of so many things, like pressure, beauty, and unexpected challenges. It’s not always easy to find your place in this world, and sometimes it takes time to bloom. This blog is my way of showing that it’s okay to blossom in your own time and in your own way. It’s about honoring where you are while still believing in where you are headed.
My hope is that this space becomes one of connection. A place where we celebrate our wins, hold space for our losses, and find comfort in knowing we aren’t alone. I hope these words resonate, even in the smallest way, and reassure anyone reading that their feelings and experiences are valid.
With that being said, here’s to Blossoming Through It.
With love,
Tania
